Energy Auditor
Job Purpose:
As an Energy Auditor, you will travel to perform site lighting/electrical audits for customers in New Jersey. This can include but is not limited to hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, restaurants, hotels, warehouses, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to travel 20% of the time.
Responsibilities:
Perform site audits following scope requirements.
Identify the required existing equipment (lighting, electrical, and/or mechanical)
Prepare detailed audit reports.
Coordinate travel to conduct site audits outside New Jersey
Meet on-site with customers.
Manage expenses during business travel.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED or college degree in a related field.
3 years’ experience and/or lighting and electrical industry training.
Experience with auditing software preferred (SnapCount, Ecoinsight, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Able to read plans and perform take-offs.
Knowledge of lighting systems controls is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask while staying organized.
Self-directed and Motivated.
Ability to work off-hours to perform job duties.
Must be a TEAM PLAYER.
